I’m done taking my career SO seriously that I try not to have a life outside of it. Like for some reason I believe I have to suffer in my life outside of work. I am going to enjoy both. I want to really enjoy my outside life more? I need to find a way to get a better schedule.
When you really think about it, you don’t bring your job with you when you die. People don’t really give a fuck. The people you know give a fuck about how much time you spent with them, and that’s what you’ll care about, too.
You do want to inspire and make lives better, which you can at work, as well as outside, but you don’t need to try so hard to accomplish that that you forget about life.
Find balance.
